The Mickee Faust Club produces three shows annually:

Spring Cabaret, typically in March
Queer as Faust Cabaret, in June
Full-length play, typically in October

What is Mickee Faust? What is a cabaret?

Mickee Faust Club is an alternative theater company that performs a variety of original material. Cabarets feature 20+ original or adapted skits and songs written by company members. Material focuses on whatever company members are interested in and typically ranges from politics to gender, disability, sexuality and cats.

What should I expect at auditions?

Auditions are very laid back. Scripts for the upcoming show are passed around the group and read aloud or read on stage. Each cabaret consists of around 20 original or adapted skits and songs, so there will be plenty of opportunities for you to read.

Do I need to sign up to audition in advance?

Do I need to prepare anything?

Nope. Just come ready to read from the scripts provided.

What should I bring?

Bring your schedule for the next few months and something to write with.

How much time do I have to commit to do a show?

You must be available for 8 weeks of rehearsals and two weeks of show dates. For each part you get in a show, you will rehearse an hour a week. We have cast work days and runs of the show on weekends prior to tech week that are required. The week of the show, the entire cast will be required for 3-4 hours each night.

Does it cost anything?

There are no fees to perform and the company has makeup and costumes available for performers. However, some cast members choose to purchase their own costumes or props.
