we are mighty busy rats

Literally hours after the close of one of our most successful shows ever (Sex, Beer & Shakespeare) our insatiable rats, err... "Faustkateers", started gearing up for the next glorious adventure in the sewer: Queer as Faust III. The writers meetings are wrapping up, which means the next step is a call to all interested in performing, directing, or tech-ing (is tech-ing a word?) for the upcoming gender/queer themed show this June. So, be clearing your busy social calendars and scaling back your other evening and weekend commitments, because we need to see all your happy shiny faces on stage in about 7 weeks!!!

    And now, we're approaching the start of the Festival. I'm particularly excited by the staged reading of transcripts from the Proposition 8 Trial. We've pulled some of our Faustkateers from oblivion - I mean retirement.

    The stories are compelling. The testimony challenging at times. We need witnesses to join their voices to ours and to the Courage Campaign which kicked off this project!

      Oblivion, schmablivion! I resent that remark!
      I'm looking forward to testifying tomorrow night.
      Also note that the newest Mickee Faust Films short, Deaf Relay - At
      Your Service will show during the cabaret. It will make its world
      public premiere in Durham, NC in August.
